Moledi Gorge

Moledi means ‘to narrate’ in the local language of SeTswana. At Moledi you’ll find that the only time that matters is sunrise and sunset, allowing you the freedom to create your own memorable story.

Moledi is an eight-suite sanctuary situated on one of the most picturesque, privately owned game farms, north of Magaliesburg in the North West Province, South Africa. This uber-chic bush villa, built high on a cliff, has breath taking views of an expansive gorge, which can be enjoyed from every angle. Travellers in search of absolute privacy, luxury and relaxation, will find it a retreat that offers personalised service, style and comfort. The Moledi bush villa comprises seven deluxe suites and one presidential suite. Each suite is individually decorated and has floor to ceiling glass doors that offer magnificent views over a private balcony. The villa has one presidential suite with an open plan bathroom, lounge, private deck and swimming pool.

Seven premier suites come individually decorated with differently configured open plan bathrooms. Two of the deluxe suites have enclosed bathrooms. Each room has air-con, mini bar fridges and floor to ceiling glass doors that offer magnificent views over private balconies. The Presidential Suite is the only one of its kind at Moledi. It has a private garden, deck and swimming pool. The suite also has floor to ceiling glass doors that offer magnificent views of the gorge.

The Main lodge offers guests the following, open plan lounge, dining area and bar, cliff view deck with long table and seated area, ‘Fire pit’ deck for sundowners, upper pool deck, infinity pool deck and outdoor shower. The lodge also has an entertainment room equipped typically utilised by our junior guests with DSTV, table tennis and games.

Moledi also has an intimate wine cellar with a private dining area. We can accommodate conferences and have facilities of up to 20 guests. We have a small one treatment room spa offering massage treatments and a steam room for detoxing and relaxation. We also offer guests alfresco dining in one of the many outdoor dining areas. Our large boma which seats up to 30 people, our mini boma for smaller groups, our hammock garden or our hilltop picnic spot to name a few.
