Kwetsani Camp - land & water Camp 

Kwetsani Camp, one of the most remote camps in the Okavango, is situated on an elongated island covered with palm, mangosteen and fig trees. Depending on the water levels, Kwetsani offers excellent land and water activities, viewing wildlife by mekoro or on game drives. During times of high water, Kwetsani boats to Hunda Island for game drives, complete with a picnic for a full-day excursion.

Five luxurious “treehouse” tents are elevated so as to take in the view. The main area includes a dining room and lounge area situated under a cool thatched roof and leads onto an expansive wooden deck that looks out over an enormous floodplain often dotted with plains game. A plunge pool is a perfect spot to relax or watch the animals below.

Kwetsani Camp is raised on stilts beneath a shady canopy. Five wonderful, spacious tree-house, canvas, chalets are built under thatch roofs, with wood, glass and a little canvas. All have en-suite facilities including a shower, flush toilet, twin basins and an additional outdoor shower for those who like showering in the open air. The camp overlooks an enormous floodplain dotted with Lechwe and Wildebeest. Guests can lie in their rooms, or in the pool, and watch the animals in front of the camp. All the Okavango's large predators are found here.

Qorokwe Camp - land & water Camp

Qorokwe Camp is a striking and contemporary styled luxury camp set in a prime location, on a private concession in the game-rich southern reaches of the Okavango Delta. Wildlife is rich and varied here, with particularly good predator sightings. The eight large and comfortable suites each feature private pools and have been designed to maximise the impact of the Delta vistas. Sleek, minimalist water features mirror the water of the lagoon.

The name Qorokwe means “the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water" evoking the high-density game area in which this camp is situated. It owes its productivity to a mix of habitat types that lie between its western and eastern borders: the Santantadibe and Gomoti Channels respectively.

Qorokwe Camp combines a contemporary style with a classic bush feel. Its nine tented suites (including one very spacious family unit with its own private plunge pool) are well shaded and catch the prevailing breeze. The whole camp, including the magnificent main area, overlooks a lagoon and its infinity pool is a focal point for the expansive views.

The magnificent main area overlooks a productive lagoon and the dining area, lounge, library and bar are built on raised wooden platforms, connected by walkways. The camp marries minimalist clean lines and a stylish contemporary aesthetic with a real connection with the natural world. The rooms and main areas are modernist: flat-roofed with wood panels, wrought iron and geometric shapes and large sliding doors that welcome in and frame the magnificent wilderness of the Delta. Traditional touches such as woven baskets provide a connection with the ancient but still practised arts of the people of Botswana. Peaceful rectangular water features edge the lounge area and frame the view onto the lagoon. The generously sized infinity pool is set slightly lower and adjacent to the firepit.
