The Luxury Suites

The luxury suites boast king-size beds as well as bathrooms with a bath and shower. Stay comfy with underfloor heating, tea and coffee making facilities and minibar area. Each room has DSTV and a DVD player.

Deluxe Dam Facing Suites

The 3 Dam Deluxe Suites offer stunning views of a rolling lawn and the trout dam. Each room boasts a king-size bed, dressing room area, bathroom with bath and shower, underfloor heating, air-conditioning, private balconies, tea and coffee making facilities and a minibar area. What sets these suites apart from the Luxury Suites is that they all have private patios with magnificent views of the dam.

Superior Mountain Facing Suites

Our Superior Mountain View Suites are individual units with majestic views of the Drakensberg. Each unit has a king-size bed, separate lounge area, DSTV and DVD, fireplace, dressing-room area, underfloor heated bathroom with bath as well as indoor and outdoor showers, private balconies with loungers, air conditioning, tea and coffee-making facilities, a minibar area, as well as wireless internet.

Our Superior Suites overlook lush pastures and rolling hills towards the entire panoramic Drakensberg range. Sunsets over the mountains are spectacular.

Fordoun Spa

The Fordoun Spa is located within the heart of the Nottingham Road, Midlands Meander and boasts a team of experts that include skilled masseuses, Reiki and Bio-energy specialists, a traditional African Healer and highly trained aestheticians. The spa features internationally acclaimed treatments such as the Rasul (a Turkish steam and clay room treatment), a saline Floatation pool, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a gymnasium, sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy and two couple’s treatment suites.

Experiences
Guests can enjoy peaceful walks around the grounds, visit the herb garden of Dr. Ndlovu or ride mountain bikes along designated routes through the Fordoun Estate. Fly-fishing is available of three still water dams at Fordoun or in season, within the pristine waters of the nearby Bushman’s or Mooi River. Golf is also available at the magnificent Bosch Hoek or Gowrie Farm courses which are both just a few minutes away.
