Timamoon is a unique hideaway set high up in the hills and is surrounded by forests and rivers, making this the perfect romantic escape for couples. This is an exclusive private getaway tucked in the Sabie Valley Mountains close to the famous Kruger National Park and the Blyde River Canyon.

As you step into Timamoon’s hideaway of palms, bamboo, peacocks and endless uninterrupted views of the bush and river, you get a sense of the passion that it has taken to bring together this boutique lodge. The art has been collected by the owners for the past 30 years and boasts beautiful pieces from Morocco, India, and Zanzibar.

Each of the Timamoon Villas is secluded and offer beautiful tropical gardens, private pools, fireplaces, large baths, outdoor showers and comfy daybeds. With an emphasis on privacy and romance, each villa is perfectly hidden away giving you a quiet and tranquil space. With only seven rooms, this lodge is an intimate getaway for couples.

Moon River is perfectly situated so that guests can enjoy the view of the river in the distance and is surrounded by large palms and tropical gardens. You will also find a rim-flow swimming pool coupled with various amenities and facilities.

Secret Moon is held up high by decorative terracotta, pebbled pillars and clay tortoises. In the sky, the views of treetops, rolling hills and the Sabie River below winding its way through the valley, is the perfect way to spend the days next to your private pool.

Bombay moon is perched on the hillside and offers views across the Sabie Valley, the river far below and the distant mountains.

New Moon sits on the edge of the world, offering views of the Sabie Valley River and the rolling mountains. Enjoy the endless panoramic views with only the long-crested eagles circling above to keep you company. Take in the awe-inspiring sunsets whilst leisurely lounging on the outdoor Balinese- styled day bed with a sundowner in hand.

Blue Moon boasts a distinct charm, nestled on the side of the hill and evokes a feeling of total privacy with only the red collared sunbirds and occasional peacock as visitors.

Many Moons is the largest of all the villas, and can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests with two bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms as well as a large lounge area with a log fireplace.

Amber Moon is set in a large lush private tropical garden with a fabulous rim-flow swimming pool and Balinese daybed. The outside terrace under the canopy of the giant litchi trees that surround Amber Moon makes the most of its natural surroundings. Bushbabies, loeries, owls and red Duiker share this paradise with you.

There is plenty to do while staying at Timamoon. Here you can find activities to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul or enjoy a series of adventures. The lodge offers a fully equipped spa ready to cater to all your needs. About Hazyview

Hazyview is a town in South Africa's Mpumalanga Province which is ideally situated just a few kilometres outside the Kruger National Park.

Hazyview derives its name from the summer haze that envelopes the low bushland. This occurs during the heat of summer season. Hazyview is a small farming town and is renowned for its banana industry. In fact, the area is reputed to have the best climate in the world for bananas and you will see row upon row of these lush tropical plantations.
