Azura Marlin Beach features ten beautifully designed villas with a blend of rich Mozambican traditions and modern styling. Guests will have a choice of Beach Villas, Beach Villa Grandes, and Villa Vista that consists of 2 separate suites, a large pool and an entertaining area making this villa perfect for families. All our villas feature dedicated butler-host service and are designed to immerse guests in the natural beauty of Benguerra Island. With thoughtfully designed indoor-outdoor living areas, and a relaxed aesthetic each villa provides a perfect blend of seclusion, comfort, and island elegance.

At Azura Marlin Beach, the public areas are selflessly designed to maximize the views over the stunning Indian Ocean, offering an array of spaces for guests to relax and appreciate island life. Begin each day with breakfast at our main restaurant, transition to a leisurely poolside lunch where you can soak up the sun and end with a mesmerizing, elegant dinner under the stars. For a memorable experience, join our lively weekly Beach BBQ, a guest favourite. Guests will have access to Wi-Fi, a boutique trading store for clothing and souvenirs, and a dedicated PADI 5-Star dive centre equipped with high-quality scuba-pro gear. For those seeking adventure, the fishing centre provides a fleet for tag-and-release fishing, including excursions for the prized Black Marlin that the Bazaruto Archipelago is famed for.

Azura Marlin can be easily combined with a Kruger or Sabi Sands Safari; Airlink flies from Nelspruit (KMIA) airport to Vilanculos daily. You can enjoy a game drive in the morning and sip your cocktail on the Azura beach in the afternoon.

Azura on Benguerra Island is blessed with hot and sunny weather year-round. Temperatures are generally in the upper 20s to low 30s Celsius, and rarely fall below 20 degrees even at night. The water temperature is gloriously warm and ranges from 24 to 30 degrees. Benguerra Island tends to receive, on average, a quarter of the rainfall that the mainland does, and there can be several months of the year when there is no rain at all. This makes the landscape very arid and challenges the indigenous gardens and water supply, but usually makes guests very happy!
