About Black Rhino Game Reserve

Black Rhino Game Reserve forms part of the greater Pilanesberg ecosystem in South Africa's North West Province and provides a private wilderness setting for exceptional Big Five game viewing. The reserve is malaria-free and characterised by rugged volcanic landscapes, open plains, rocky outcrops, and indigenous woodland.

Through its connection to the wider Pilanesberg ecosystem, wildlife moves freely across an extensive protected landscape. Guests can encounter elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, rhino, and a rich diversity of plains game and birdlife while exploring the reserve on guided safari drives.

With a more intimate and exclusive atmosphere than many larger safari destinations, Black Rhino offers a compelling combination of accessible luxury, exceptional wildlife, and immersive wilderness experiences, just a short drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria.
