Born from a lifelong love affair with the Kruger National Park and a dream of owning a house in its midst, the Lederle family set about designing and building a bush getaway which pulled together influences from their most inspiring travels around the world. The result is a luxurious 5 bedroomed luxury villa which oozes character and detail, and whispers of faraway lands such as India and Morocco.

Step outside where you will find a heated outdoor pool, boma and braai area, large viewing deck and a covered patio making it ideal for outdoor entertainment.

If the weather is not suitable for outdoor dining, our kitchen is equipped with all the utensils that one would ordinarily have in your kitchen at home.

Luxury accommodation in Big 5 paradise. Situated within the Kruger National Park Area, the estate is conveniently located a mere 6km from the Paul Kruger Gate, 26km from Skukuza Airport, or a 5 hour drive from Johannesburg.

Although not in the park itself, the lodges are set alongside the banks of the Sabie River where Elephants can often be seen grazing and drinking –  from which the estate takes its name. Within close proximity to other comparable exclusive world-famous game reserves, Elephant Point can be said to be in a league of its own.

With a selection of 16 unique lodges, ranging from 2- 5-bedrooms, each having breath-taking views of the African Bushveld and boasting a private pool, private deck, private boma, private parking, free Wi-Fi, en-suite bathrooms, living areas, dining areas, kitchen, sensory comforts and intuitive service. Elephant Point promises to be a Safari in style. Not one the same, each unit is a world-class masterpiece with its own allure.

Dine by curating your own culinary experience either in the well equipped kitchen or in your private boma. Offering every convenience, arrangements can be made for pre-arrival shopping from your prescribed list, or our Private Chef can be readily available to your assist with all meal requirements. The Boma Starlit dinner is hosted by Elephant Point every Wednesday, weather dependent, on the River Deck offering un-spoilt spectacular views.

With every comfort possible, game viewing from your lodge, nature walks within the estate and a mobile spa on call – you’ll never need to leave, however arrangements can be made for game drives, local tours and golfing within the area.

Elephant Point is situated in a region renowned for its natural diversity and concentration of Big Game and is undoubtedly in of the best game viewing areas in the Kruger National Park. The Estate takes its name from the Elephants that can frequently be seen drinking and grazing on the banks of the mighty Sabie River. However, Elephant is not the only magnificent creature you will encounter. Herds of Buffalo, Prides of Lion, Leopards and numerous Antelope species make their home in the Surrounding area.
