Khaya Ndlovu offers a truly authentic safari experience under the guidance of the knowledgeable guides. It’s not about racing from one sighting to another at the summons of a faceless, crackly voice on a radio! It’s about their intuitive instinct in locating and tracking down those exciting animals – both big and small in their natural environment. White rhino and the fiercely guarded black rhino are amongst the big four that they can proudly show you, whilst rare and quirky wild dogs are a regular find. Oh and of course; Gin and Tonics below a setting sun are on the non-optional extras list! … Substitute that for steaming Amarula hot-chocolate or coffee, on a morning drive and your day is sure to be made!
You can also go on an educational adventure bush walk with one of the guides. This will include track and sign trailing, bug hunts, feeding signs and other environmental experiences. There is also a large range of other activities in the area. What’s more, the lodge has an endless list of entertainment for children from kiddie’s spa treatments to walks around the outskirts of the lodge.
With Chef Garth and Chef Princess at the helm of the country kitchen, your taste buds are in store for a treat. From never-ending breakfasts, light and lazy lunches and delectable 4-course dinners you certainly will not go hungry during your stay. They also cater for private functions and events and offer outside guests the opportunity to have breakfast, lunches and dinners, as well as high tea. The lodge’s chefs also have a brilliant choice of menus to satisfy our little fussy ones.
