Deep in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve overlooking an active waterhole and open plains, lies the renowned Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge.
Steeped in tradition and a history spanning over 35 years, Sabi Sabi epitomizes luxury living in the African bush and service excellence. The conventional safari style showcases a vibrant and eclectic mix of furnishings and décor garnered from all corners of the African continent.
Positioned in the bushveld are 25 private suites including two Luxury Villas and the Mandleve Deluxe Suite.
Each Suite features an en-suite bathroom with al-fresco, glass-fronted showers; minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi network access.
Two spacious Luxury Villas feature a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, second en-suite bedroom, air conditioning, a private pool, library/lounge and magnificent patio facing a waterhole. The villa is decorated in classic leather and wood furnishings.
The Mandleve Deluxe Suite features a private plunge pool and luxurious interiors with endless views of the bushveld.
Bush Lodge has been designed to allow ample space to relax, unwind and savour the tranquillity of the bush. The lodge boasts two swimming pools and large covered viewing decks that overlook the Msuthlu riverbed: a comfortable lounge, atrium, intimate bar area, and the Amani Spa.
The lodge is family friendly and children of all ages can enjoy the EleFun Centre which is a fully-fledged children’s facility. The programme offered at the centre is focused around conservation and bush skills that are supervised by qualified childcare professionals.
The Sabi Sabi area is home to an abundance of wildlife including the famous Big Five. Sabi Sand Game Reserve offers phenomenal Big Cat sightings and is a bird watcher's paradise with an extensive bird population. Guests can partake in guided open game drives, conducted in the early morning and late afternoon by professional rangers and local Shangaan trackers.
The Lodge's guided bush walks offer guests a personal experience of the bush not available from the back of a Land Rover.
Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is ideal for solo explorers, couples, and families looking to experience an ultimate luxury safari.
Adjacent to the world-renowned Kruger National Park, the Sabi Sand Game Reserve is famed for its intimate wildlife encounters, particularly leopard viewing. Home to a host of animals, including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino), the Sabi Sand is part of a conservation area that covers over two million hectares (almost five million acres), an area equivalent to the state of New Jersey.
With no boundary fences between the Sabi Sand and the Kruger National Park, this reserve benefits from the great diversity of animals found in one of the richest wildlife areas on the African continent, along with the additional benefits experienced on a private game reserve.
Game drives traverse an area of 6,500 hectares and strict vehicle limits at sightings ensure the exclusivity of the game viewing experience. Sensitive off-road driving ensures that guests have the best possible view of any exceptional sighting and rangers are constantly in touch with each other to keep track of animal movements.
