Each Suite is an air-conditioned oasis with an outdoor shower and en-suite bathroom with a Victorian bath and walk-in shower.
Beautiful stonework gives Kitara an appealingly traditional feel which has been wonderfully complemented by the understated furnishing and fabrics in both the suites as well as the public areas. This elegant lodge on the banks of the Klaserie river delivers an exclusive and unrushed safari experience in one of the most remote areas in the greater Kruger area.

This is the real wild, where lions, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo, wild dog and so much more roam freely. Day or night, be accompanied on game drives and walking safaris, unveiling the awe of a special wilderness.
About the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve
Forming part of the Greater Kruger Park, the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve is a large (approximately 60, 000 hectares) private reserve with a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, leopards and hyenas that can be seen on morning and afternoon game drives. This area is known as the area where the white lion originates from. They are born in the wild and live in this area, so the gene pool of the white lion is carried within the lions of this area.
The private game reserve lies along the western border of the Kruger National Park with no fencing separating the reserve from the Kruger or the Timbavati, allowing the animals to roam freely between the reserves. The game in both the Kruger Park and the neighbouring reserves is essentially the same, the difference being the game viewing at Klaserie is exclusive and unhurried due to relatively few lodges and vehicles in the area.
