Fitzpatrick’s at Jock is the perfect haven for small groups, families and individuals seeking to unwind amidst the natural beauty of the Kruger National Park. The lodge offers three perfectly appointed rooms that cater for children. Room 1 is completely private with its own deck and plunge pool while Room 2 & 3 have been enclosed to create a  family unit with two luxury suites with bathrooms, sharing a private foyer, deck and plunge pool. Guests can soak up the African sun by their private pool while listening to the sounds of the wild.

Fitzpatrick’s at Jock is child-friendly and offers the Kids on Safari programme to encourage educational and recreational wildlife activities. Child minding services are available including educational game drives and wildlife activities. Guests can take a quiet moment to relax at the Pilgrim’s Rest Relaxation Retreat.

Fitzpatrick’s at Jock’s is perfectly positioned in the southern area of the Kruger National Park, resting at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti rivers. The legendary wildlife experiences are enhanced by the exclusive dry river bed traversing that only Jock guests can enjoy in renowned Big Five territory. It’s Jock’s unique location within the Kruger National Park that sets it apart, placed in the heart of the original Kruger National Park, the wildlife within this region have survived undisturbed with no negative impact from mankind. As with Jock Safari Lodge, Fitzpatrick’s Lodge will have exclusive traversing rights in an area that is regarded as one of the best in the Kruger for its "big five" sightings. Friendly and professional staff will cater for all guests requirements from specialised game drives or game walks - with every sound, scent, footprint or broken blade of grass - as sign waiting to be interpreted and understood. The main lodge spa will also be available for Fitzpatrick’s Lodge guests should they request spa facilities.

Guests at Fitzpatrick’s Lodge will be able to enjoy snacks and meals in the privacy of their suites or join other guests to sumptuous meals under the African sky while the chef and his dedicated team conjure up traditional dishes inspired by this unique location.

About The Kruger National Park

The largest game reserve in South Africa, the Kruger National Park is larger than Israel. Nearly 2 million hectares of land that stretch for 352 kilometres (20 000 square kilometres) from north to south along the Mozambique border, is given over to an almost indescribable wildlife experience. Certainly it ranks with the best in Africa and is the flagship of the country’s national parks - rated as the ultimate safari experience.

The Kruger National Park lies across the provinces of Mpumalanga and Limpopo in the north of South Africa, just south of Zimbabwe and west of Mozambique. It now forms part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park - a peace park that links Kruger National Park with game parks in Zimbabwe and Mozambique, and fences are already coming down to allow game to freely roam in much the way it would have in the time before man’s intervention. When complete, the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Park will extend across 35 000 square kilometres, 58% of it South African, 24% Mozambican and 18% Zimbabwean territory.
