In Swahili, Ukuthula means peace and this is what you will experience on walking into this Kruger paradise. Situated in the well sought after Mjejane Game Reserve, Ukuthula House is surrounded by a 4000 hectare reserve with over 10km of riverfront to enjoy. Approximately a 4-hour and 30-minute drive from Gauteng and a mere 45 minutes from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, the reserve is a stone's throw from six well-known golf courses, including Leopard Creek.

Stepping into Ukuthula House transports you into a very special piece of Africa, where no detail has been overlooked. Driving into the entrance area you will be greeted by the wonderful staff who will become like family. Walk through the reception library into a Moroccan-inspired courtyard that will take your breath away. Through the kitchen and lounge ahead you will see the breath-taking river view, the Kruger at your very doorstep.

Experience beautiful luxury suites, take a dip in to pool while watching the elephants play, spot a leopard from the deck over a pizza and gin and tonic, or listen to the sound of the hyenas call over a fire in the boma.

Game Viewing

Game drives are conducted within the Mjejane reserve which offers 4000-hectares of amazing game viewing with the Crocodile River providing great spots to stop for drinks or coffee. There is an in-house game ranger and vehicle on site which accommodates up to 10 guests, should there be more guests, a second vehicle is available.

Guests get into the Kruger National Park by means of a bridge that offers direct access into the Park from Mjejane. At this moment, it is closed however once open, Ukuthula will obtain passes as they are within the concession.
