About Khwai Private Reserve

Khwai Private Reserve is a 200 000 hectare private reserve positioned between the Chobe National Park and the Moremi Game Reserve. The reserve thus benefits from the through-flow of magnificent wildlife from those important and productive areas. The Khwai Private Reserve is one of the most beautifully iconic landscapes in Botswana. Mopane clusters jostle for space within riverine forest, pretty waterholes dot the floodplains, and waterways wind their way across the landscape from the mighty Khwai River. Bursting with all signature wildlife, Khwai Private Reserve has an excellent reputation for hiding the rarer species of the animal kingdom, including wild dog, serval cats, honey badgers and the elusive pangolin.
