Designed for both family and romantic escapes, Lolebezi has four superior suites and two double family units. The lodge is fully airconditioned, with a private Plunge pool and thatched Sala on the river
The name Lolobezi is derived from a combination of the owners’ son’s name “Lole” and “Zambezi”, underlining the importance that is placed on family and the amazing experiences waiting to be shared.
Each suite has a private plunge pool, perfect for whiling away the hot African afternoons, G&T in hand, watching the great river flow slowly past. All the food served at Lolebezi is Halaal-friendly. For those looking for even more relaxation, there is an on-site spa with qualified treatment specialists, and a yoga deck.
Activities include game drives, walking safaris, river cruises, fishing, and so, so much more!
For the eco-conscious traveller, Lolebezi is ideal. Sustainability has been embedded into its design and the lodge is powered by off-grid solar energy. Staying at Lolebezi will have a profound effect on all who visit and is setting new standards for luxury safari travel in Africa.
Come to a place where animals roam the unfenced safari camps, where Africa’s most unspoilt nature stretches out in front of you, where traces of people are hard to find and where nighttime is about sitting under an incredibly black sky, dotted with countless stars. Welcome to Zambia's Lower Zambezi National Park.
It is the draw-card of Lower Zambezi: the remoteness of this eastern part of Zambia. The Lower Zambezi National Park, founded in 1983, covers an area of 4,092 square kilometres along the northwestern bank of the Zambezi River. Step onboard on a boat or drift silently past the riverbank in a canoe for the best wildlife viewing, since most wildlife is concentrated around the Lower Zambezi Valley and the river. Elephant herds, sometimes up to one hundred strong, hippo, leopard, lion, buffalo, over 400 bird species – they all gather in this mesmerizing wilderness.
Lower Zambezi has a wide range of accommodation options, so start browsing our list of Lower Zambezi safari lodges. You might have some trouble choosing between all these beautiful destinations but just remember: stunning views, excellent bush cuisine and warm hospitality are the standards in Zambia, so you will find that everywhere.
